To this famous little children’s rhyme I have added a few lines, thus making it a prayer. Pass it on, especially to children, whose angels behold the face of God and whose prayers are so powerful before His throne.
Starlight, star bright,
First star I see tonight;
I wish I may, I wish I might
have the wish I wish tonight-
Holy Mary, Mother Mild,
speak for me to thy sweet Child;
Ask Him for the grace I seek,
and in my name, please kiss His cheek!
