And The Moon Was Under Her Feet

“By the authority of Our Lord Jesus Christ, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and by our own authority, we pronounce, declare and define it to be a divinely revealed dogma: that the Immaculate Mother of God, the ever Virgin Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory.”- Pope Pius XII, November 1, 1950, Munificentissimus Deus

It has always been noted by true theologians and doctors of the Church that popes declare doctrines and dogma so as to protect these always held truths from ages of impiety, corruption and loss of faith. Thus, the Holy Spirit, knowing the apostasy that was to come so soon after the pontificate of Pius XII, protected the universally held doctrine of the Assumption of the dear Blessed Mother by the power of her Divine Son.

It is also believed that the Blessed Mother chose to die, (the Dormition of the Virgin) so as to further share in the Passion of her Son, she who, because of His merits upon the Cross of Calvary, was not subject to death. Whereas Our Lord ascended into heaven of His own power and glory, united substantially to God the Father and God the Holy Spirit, Our Lady was assumed into heaven as an express gift of her loving Son.

Anyone who has studied or travelled on pilgrimage to Europe knows the amazing history of relics, some real, most fake, (pious fakes, but still fakes.) However, it is very interesting to note that nowhere, absolutely nowhere does any group, church, or region claim the grave or body of the Blessed Virgin Mary, or has ever claimed such. The belief in her assumption was always held to be fact by the Church, both eastern and western and by the faithful in all places at all times.

Remember, O great Virgin Mary, that you are our mother, our queen and our advocate before the throne of your Divine Son, Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Pray for us always, and for all whom we love. Keep us safe neath your mantle of Love and take us to your Son, Jesus. Blessed be God in you, O Blessed Mother, and blessed be His work of salvation shown in you to the glory of His Name. We love you, Mother Most Pure, Mother Most Chaste, Mother Most Loving; help us to love your Son and receive us at the hour of our death. Amen.

Vigil of The Assumption of the BVM

There are feast days in the Church that are so great they have vigils; this is one of them. The dear Blessed Mother was assumed into heaven by her Divine Son, He Who is the First born of all creation and the Head of the Church.

Mary Most Holy, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Feast of St. John Vianney

“Jesus Christ, after having given us all He could give, that is to say, the merit of His toils, His sufferings and bitter death; after having given us His adorable Body and Blood to be the food of our souls, willed also to give us the most precious thing He had left, which was His Holy Mother.”

“When our hands have touched spices, they give fragrance to all they handle. Let us make our prayers pass through the hands of the Blessed Virgin. She will make them fragrant.”

Veritas Domini Manet In Aeternum

The Council of Trent said: “It is certain that the Church was instructed by Jesus Christ and His apostles and that all truth was daily taught Her by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. Therefore, it is obviously absurd and injurious to propose a certain ‘restoration and regeneration’ for her as though necessary for her safety and growth, as if she could be considered subject to defect or obscuration or other misfortune. Indeed these authors of novelties consider that a foundation may be laid of a new human institution, and what St. Cyprian detested may come to pass, that what was a divine thing may become a human church.”

This goes not only for the Protestant Deformation but for, obviously, that false council known as Vatican 2. Our Blessed Saviour and Lord said: “By their fruits shall ye know them!” The fruits of Vatican 2 are undeniably rotten. For the first time since Christ founded the Church she is in retreat, (prophesy being fulfilled in our lifetimes.) Never before has the Church closed her parishes, (except under persecution and then to a great flowering underground and after the said calamities.) The Vatican 2 cult has closed upwards of twenty per cent of churches in both Europe and the Americas! This alone proves she is a false church.

Also, one can never be the head of a church of which one is not a member. It is obvious to even the die hard conservatives that Francis is a heretic. Seeking the favor and admiration of the world, this man has spewed more heresy in his short time occupying the Chair of Peter than any of his fellow anti-pope predecessors. When a pope is lauded by the likes of Bill Mahr and the atheist league, watch out!

Oh God, save us all and save Thy Church. Amen.

Never Forget

Never forget that there are an abundance in the world of those who can not even bear to hear the Holy Name of Jesus; who use His Name as they would profanity and who hate His Church and all for which She stands.

She stands at the cross and opens her heart wide, like the arms of the crucified Christ Who created her, to welcome the weary, the exhausted souls for whom it is time for grace, for the great letting go of self.

The transformation of those who are ready is magnificent and beautiful. May you be among that number. Narrow is the gate and difficult the way that leads to life, and few there are that find it!

Of The Blessed Virgin Mary

Ye who own the faith of Jesus- Sing the wonders that were done,

Blessed were the chosen people out of whom the Lord did come;

Let us fly to the Blessed Mother, Mary Most Holy, in all our troubles, tribulations and trepidations. She is Our Lady and Our Mother. She has a relationship to God that no other creature has- she is Daughter of the Father, Mother of the Redeeming Son and she is the Spouse of the Holy Ghost, Three in One! No other person, even Eve, has this relationship to Almighty God.

When the Archangel Gabriel prostrated himself before the Maid of Nazareth he said, “Hail Mary, thou full of grace! Thou hast found favour with God…” The Greek translation of the word full, (kekaritohmene) means, you in whom there is nothing but grace!

In holy scripture her role as intercessor with her Divine Son was prophesied by the prophet Simeon, with St. Anna, in the temple during the Presentation when he said: “Behold, thine own soul a sword shall pierce, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed!” Again, throughout scripture we are told, “Mary kept in mind all these things, pondering them in her heart…” How can the thoughts of many hearts be revealed if there is not an exposition of and a devotion to the Heart of Mary?

We call her heart Immaculate because she was conceived without original sin in the womb of her mother St. Ann, not by her merits, but by those of Christ upon the Cross of Calvary, in her foreshadowed, because God is the Lord of Time and reaches through the veil of our existence for His good pleasure.

O, Good Christian Friend, be not ashamed of the Most Blessed Mother! Love her, cherish her in your heart and pray to her as Mother of the King, and the Lord of Glory will grant you any grace you ask!

Do you need purity? Mary Most Pure will grant you, from the Sacred Heart of Jesus, wherein are contained all riches and honor, the chastity you need.

Do you need strength? Mary, Virgin Most Powerful, will strengthen you with graces from the Storehouse of all Fortitude- the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Do you need faith or hope or charity? Do you need forgiveness of sin weighing on your troubled soul? Do you need joy because of a difficult and unsettled life? The Queen of Peace, who intimately knows the Prince and King of Peace, Jesus, Crucified and Risen, will gladly take you to His Most Loving Heart and pray for your faithfulness to His will and ways.

Whatever you need; whatever you lack- Your Mother is calling to you this day, while there is still time, “I am the Mother of Fair Love and of Holy Fear; of knowledge and of holy hope. Blessed is he who finds me, for he who finds me finds life and wins favour from the Lord.”

It is God’s Will that the Mother of His Son be honored. When we love her we give glory to Jesus and all that is good is ours for the asking. Blessed be God. Blessed be His Holy Name. Blessed be the Name of Jesus, and blessed be His dear and glorious Mother.

Great Saint James

Today we celebrate the Feast of St. James the Greater, (meaning older of the two St. James’.) I was privileged to attempt the Camino Santiago de Campostela in Galicia. However, due to my disability I was not able to walk the way as much as I liked and had to make use of the van. Still, I was given the honor of offering Holy Mass, (Tridentine) at the very tomb of Saint James, underneath the high altar. I also sang the Ave Maria in the Cathedral at the behest of the Dean of the Cathedral. All this was a great blessing from Almighty God through Great Saint James.

He is the patron of Spain and is venerated in the Cathedral under the title Montemores- which is to say that he is the vanquisher of the Muslim hordes and is credited with appearing, mounted on a white horse to rid the Iberian peninsula of the Musleman.

The Lord is using Islam to chastise the West and this will only grow in the next few years, as predicted by Archbishop Fulton Sheen before he died. God rest his immortal soul. I was also privileged to receive the last letter written by the good Archbishop before he died.

O Glorious Saint James, because of your fervor and generosity, Jesus Our Lord chose you to witness his glory on the Mount of Transfiguration and his Agony in the Garden. Obtain for us strength and consolation in the unending struggles of life. Help us to follow Christ generously, to be victors over all our difficulties, and to receive the crown of glory in heaven. Amen.

Eternal Rest grant unto Fulton Sheen, O Lord, and may light perpetual shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the Faithful Departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

MY SECURITY IS IN GOD

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee; because he trusteth in Thee.” Isa. 26:3

God is my perfect life. In Spirit I live and move and have my being. God is in me and in all of Life and His creation. The same God Who holds the stars in their courses and maintains the whole universe in perfect balance keeps me in perfect balance now, if I but permit Him.

Because I trust His infinite power continuously, I know perfect peace at all times. I dwell in the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Our Lord and God, which is the secret place of the Most High, written about in the Word. His angel thoughts keep me in all my ways. He wants the very best for me. He is on my side. My security is in God. My every need is met before it has time to become a lack in my life.

I commit my way unto the Lord and my body and my circumstances are maintained in perfect balance with the harmonious whole of Life. The events in my life are perfectly synchronized in the beautiful symphony of spiritual life, no matter what appearance they take.

Order is the first rule of heaven and is plainly demonstrated in God’s universe, even after the fall of man. God’s heaven within becomes my balanced world. This is the peace that passes all understanding. I am content and grateful to the Immortal, Invisible God only Wise, through Jesus Christ and in the Immaculate Heart of Mary and all saints. I am content. Amen.
