<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong>THE QUESTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>By Jamie Saint Anthony<\/p>\n<p><em>See Me come to save the world<br \/>\nborn in Bethlehem<br \/>\nOf the fragrant, Mystic Rose<br \/>\nof that rose the Stem<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> See me follow Joseph&#8217;s word<br \/>\nworking with my hands<br \/>\nSee Me, the very Son of God<br \/>\nobey a son of man<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> See Me now condemned to die<br \/>\nsee Me take the cross<br \/>\nSee Me walk to Calvary<br \/>\nsee Me fill your loss<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> See Me fastened to the wood<br \/>\nsee Me lifted high<br \/>\nSee them laugh and spit at Me<br \/>\nsee My Mother cry<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> See her meekly standing there<br \/>\nsee her spirit ache<br \/>\nSee the sword of sorrow plunge<br \/>\nsee her poor heart break<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> See the nails inside my hands<br \/>\nsee them cruelly torn<br \/>\nSee My tortured, injured feet<br \/>\nsee My crown of thorn<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> See the wounds the scourging gave<br \/>\nsee Me do your part<br \/>\nSee Me drink the chalice dry<br \/>\nsee My bleeding Heart<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> Yes, see My child where I am-<br \/>\nnailed upon a tree!<br \/>\nNow tell Me, dearest little one<br \/>\nwho loves you more than ME?<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong>PRAYER BEFORE A CRUCIFIX<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>By Jamie Saint Anthony<\/p>\n<p><em>My Jesus, once again I come<br \/>\npleading grace from Thee<br \/>\nBehold Thy lost and lonely child<br \/>\nbe merciful to me <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I know there have been many times<br \/>\nthat I&#8217;ve rejected Thee<br \/>\nBut still, with contrite heart I beg<br \/>\nbe merciful to me <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Amid temptations, doubts and fears<br \/>\nI still remember Thee<br \/>\nAnd cry with sorrow keen and true<br \/>\nbe merciful to me <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Sweet Saviour, see my sorry state<br \/>\nhow I have need of Thee<br \/>\nAnd in Thy loving kindness, oh<br \/>\nbe merciful to me <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>For &#8216;neath Thy cross I kneel, dear Christ<br \/>\nand give my heart to Thee<br \/>\nOh, for Thy bleeding, broken Heart<br \/>\nbe merciful to me <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Yes, from Thy cross bend down, my Lord<br \/>\nforever I praise Thee<br \/>\nAnd give Thee thanks, because Thou art<br \/>\nSo merciful to me! <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Amen<\/p>\n<h2><strong>WHY?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>By Jamie Saint Anthony<\/p>\n<p><em>Why did they change it?<br \/>\nOh, please tell me why!<br \/>\nFrom Tridentine richness<br \/>\nTo English so dry<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>From candles and incense<br \/>\nand beautiful smells<br \/>\nFrom vestments and statues<br \/>\nand heavenly bells<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nFrom marble and velvet<br \/>\nand silver and gold<br \/>\nFrom silence and music<br \/>\nand truths rightly told<\/p>\n<p>To plywood and plastic<br \/>\nand big, ugly rugs<br \/>\nTo giggles and, oh yes<br \/>\ncompulsory hugs<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nTo priests wearing bed sheets<br \/>\nand preaching of fun<br \/>\nAnd heretics pleased to<br \/>\nbe flapping their gums<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nTo nuns without habits<br \/>\n(they&#8217;ve eschewed the veil<br \/>\nOne sees by their actions<br \/>\nthey&#8217;d rather be male)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nTo music so banal<br \/>\nit can&#8217;t lift the heart<br \/>\nThree notes and a chord change<br \/>\n(they call this stuff art?)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nTo lay people touching<br \/>\nthe once Sacred Host<br \/>\nThis sacrilege now is<br \/>\ntheir favorite boast<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nTo standing and sitting<br \/>\nwhere once we had knelt<br \/>\nTo Masses for kiddies<br \/>\nand banners of felt<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nTo sermons that sadden<br \/>\nthe Heart of the Lord<br \/>\nWhose Mother&#8217;s rejected<br \/>\nWhose laws are ignored<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nTo scandal on scandal<br \/>\nOh, dear Lord how long?<br \/>\nThe Church is a shambles &#8212;<br \/>\nSomething&#8217;s drastically wrong!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nThe Novus Ordo (nervous Disorder)<br \/>\nthat now rules the day<br \/>\nThat empties the churches<br \/>\nbut says it&#8217;s the way<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nThat decimates Orders<br \/>\nthat cannot make saints<br \/>\nThat does not proclaim<br \/>\nthe true Catholic Faith<\/p>\n<p>Has shown us all one thing<br \/>\nundoubtedly true:<br \/>\nROTTEN ARE THE FRUITS<br \/>\nOF VATICAN TWO!!<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AN OBSERVATION By Jamie Saint Anthony Good Saint Pat in days of yore stood stalwart on the Irish shore and drove all snakes from Eire&#8217;s green sod (and did so by the power of God!)
