{"id":725,"date":"2014-07-01T14:23:31","date_gmt":"2014-07-01T21:23:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jamiestanthony.com\/blog\/?p=725"},"modified":"2014-07-01T14:28:43","modified_gmt":"2014-07-01T21:28:43","slug":"the-great-feast-of-the-most-precious-blood-of-jesus-christ","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jamiestanthony.com\/blog\/2014\/07\/01\/the-great-feast-of-the-most-precious-blood-of-jesus-christ\/","title":{"rendered":"The Great Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today is the Feast of the Precious Blood of Jesus, Our Dear Lord and Saviour. \u00a0July is also dedicated to His Precious Blood. \u00a0Like His Most Sacred Heart, the Precious Blood of Jesus is a magnificent symbol of His undying Love for you and me, for all of mankind.<\/p>\n<p>The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is much, much more than the Protestant commemoration of what they confuse about the Last Supper. \u00a0It is truly the un-bloody sacrifice of Jesus on Calvary made present in this time and place through the apostolate of the Sacred Priesthood, wherein a true, Catholic priest brings Christ Himself down upon the altar, in His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, under the appearance of bread and wine.<\/p>\n<p>In the London Museum there is an old painting of three personages, Martin Luther, John Calvin and Jesus Christ.
