This is a beautiful day. It is the day in which we celebrate every human being that is in heaven, those we know and those who are known only to God and His Heavenly Court. Your dear mother who suffered so and loved the good Lord through it all, she is there. Your wonderful father who worked so hard for so long and who answered the call of grace late in life, but with a resounding YES!, he is there. Your sainted aunt who secretly paid for you and all of your siblings to go to Catholic schools and who, when going through her things after she died, was shown to support many charities, all anonymously- she is enjoying the Beatific Vision, as well.
Those souls which suffered torture for the Name of Christ and who were forgotten by the world and all their friends, they are being continually refreshed, rewarded and are resplendent in their angel given robes of honor!
Holy Mother Church celebrates each and every saint that reigns with Christ, those She knows now and has elevated to the altars for the edification of Her children, and those whom She does not know now, but will celebrate with for all eternity. What a magnificent day!
O Saints of God, in glory bright
Enjoying Him in endless Light
Remember us who toil below
and pray that we in grace will grow
In happiness to one day share,
The brilliance that in Christ you bear
The bliss that follows in the way-
That consummated, endless Day!
