The wonderful abbott Father Leonard, who was Judas betrayed by his right hand man, Fr. Sebastian, (who, by the way, was told he wasn’t a priest by the Novus Ordo church from whom he got his thirty pieces of silver!) said something wonderful before he died:

Thank You For Your Prayers

My dear friends, I have been quite ill with the flu and have not been able to post for a while. I am now on the road to recovery and am grateful for all your prayers.

Being ill reminds me of the truth of the saying “borrowed time.” We are all on borrowed time. In fact, everything we have is borrowed! Our talents, our senses, our families, our friends, indeed, life itself is borrowed from the good God- and one day we will have to return it! We will return every thing that God has allowed us during our sojourn in this Vale of Tears. We will have to make an accounting of all that we have borrowed. May we be good and faithful servants of the dear Lord and make a good return to Him on that of which we have temporary possession.

O God, have mercy on me, a sinner. Make my heart open to Your love and Your grace, so that all that you have graciously given me I may give back to You with good return. I know I fail often to do Your Will. Please forgive me all my character defects and mistakes. Make me a blessing to all in my life and give me, above all an attitude of gratitude. Through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, in the Name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Prayer To Saint Jude

St. Jude reminds us that there is nothing impossible for God. Over the centuries his miraculous help has touched the lives of millions. Being a member of the Communion of Saints has wonderful benefits! Among these are recourse to the saints who have gone before, marked with the Sign of Faith and who, by the Will of Almighty God, intercede for us in the same manner that we pray on earth for others. It is indeed God’s Will that we pray to the saints, for if I can ask you to pray for me, why then can I not ask those who are already in heaven to pray for me?

St. Jude Thaddeus was one of the twelve apostles. Thaddeus is added to his name, (meaning loving and amiable) so as not to confuse him with the traitor Judas Iscariot. Here is a wonderful prayer to this great saint, who, by the way, is always shown with an image of the Blessed Lord around his neck. Proper use of iconography has always been allowed by Holy Mother Church, one has only to visit the catacombs to see the proof of this. God knows we need symbols of the holy and when they are used to lift the soul to God they become efficacious.

A Thought On A Part of Human Nature

There is a primary human need, stronger than the need for food, sex, or love, all of which have been designed into our nature by God. That is the need for recognition, the need to make one’s mark in the world. One makes their mark according to one’s capabilities. If you have talents, you exercise them: If you are Mozart, you write The Magic Flute. If you don’t, (or believe you don’t because someone has taught you that fallacy) you thrust yourself into the path of others in cruder ways- you wear stupid T-shirts or you become the know-it-all or the impresario at the back of the bus. If your life has been stunted from the beginning by violence, dysfunction or harsh surroundings, then you might steal things or destroy things and hurt the innocent- animals and people. It is interesting to note that every serial killer started out hurting animals. You do anything, anything to leave an image of yourself in other peoples minds.

How wonderful to know that God’s grace can reach down into any life and change the heart so that this innate quest becomes part of the Way of Love. Anyone can change for the better. All it takes is surrender, even in the smallest manner, to the sway of divine grace. Remember, God does not want golden vessels or silver vessels… He wants YIELDED vessels. Here’s to yielding to the Way of Divine Love. This is why people from the same type of background can end up so differently. One yields to dysfunction and hurt. The other to function and compassion, which brings healing and triumph. Think on these things.

APATHY IS THE GREATEST EVIL

Recently, a british soldier was horribly murdered in front of many witnesses WHO DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT FILM THE BLOODY EVENT. As there are no more MEN in the western world, (only feminized males,) there was no one to intervene. This disgusts me to the point of rage, which leads me to pray and publicly cry: THOSE OF YOU WHO WATCHED WHAT HAPPENED AND DID NOTHING ARE GUILTY OF A GREATER EVIL THAN THOSE WHO COMMITTED THE ACT! God have mercy on your souls. This is what the west has become. More evil will undoubtedly occur as Holy Writ tells us these things would occur, “as mens love for one another grows cold…”

We are truly in the end times and if only by attrition, the western world will die within fifty years. This is a statement of fact, not hyperbole. The mohammedan world is not aborting their babies, unlike the USA, Canada, Europe and the rest of what was Christendom. If only by birth rate we will fall. God will once again use the Islamic cult to discipline His people. In the middle ages, as the church hierarchy fell into the misuse of riches and power, Saint Francis told the pope and the churchmen that the rise of mohammedanism was sent by God as a punishment for these sins. Stopped only by a holy pope at the Battle of Lepanto by his plea to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, the church has once again fallen into corporate sin and God will use Islam to punish her. Bishop Fulton Sheen presaged this and he was right. God have mercy on us as we enter these last, few years of what was left of Christendom. What more is there to say? Pray and when you see evil- SAY AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! We are judged as much by our inaction as we are by our actions. God save us. Blessed Mother and all Saints, help us!

This is the Queen of Feast Days for Holy Mother Church. In fact, it is her birthday. On this day, after praying the first novena in the history of the Church, the Apostles, the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Holy Women were visited by the Holy Ghost in a manner unique in history. So powerful was this visitation that the power took the form of flames and danced upon their heads! How marvelous the power of the Holy Ghost!
